ABOUT THE LISTENING PRACTICE

The concept for The Listening Practice came out of my own experience of feeling unheard, misunderstood, and alone.  Although I knew there were people I could turn to, I also knew that they were all facing challenges of their own and I was reluctant to burden them with my issues.

Our Core Values: Curiosity, Understanding, Compassion, and Integrity.

At that time, I was in the middle of my own journey towards understanding the power of stillness and trying to understand how I was feeling and why I was feeling the way I did. As I was going through my own internal challenges, I noticed that there were many others feeling the same way.  The world seemed to be on the cusp of a mental health crisis, albeit not for the first time, but also there was a fresh openness about discussing these life moments and experiences.

Our Mission: Compassionate listening to facilitate healing.

This space is to provide a solution to the human need to feel heard, connected, understood.  I promise you a space of compassion, non-judgement and healing as you speak your truth, your hurt and your thoughts even if I don’t always understand. It can also be a safe place to explore new ideas, brainstorm concepts, and create solutions of your own.

Our Vision: To reach those who feel unheard, who don’t want to burden others, who want to unburden themselves without fear of judgement.

It is my hope that The Listening Practice helps you to be more fully and securely, yourself.
